This is the planning I did for the preliminary task. I decided to go for Idea 3, Interrogation, because I thought that it would fit best with all of the camera shots and would be a good story line. When doing the preliminary task, I altered the script so that it fit better, which is why in the preliminary task the script has changed. The location and props have also changed slightly because I decided it looked better the way that I did it.
Characters
Willow Riphagen will be playing the police woman. She will be wearing a blazer with a smart top, so that she looks more formal then the criminal. This will also make her look more realistic because she isn't wearing jogging bottoms or something less formal, so it looks like she is taking her job seriously.
Georgia Hall will be playing the criminal. She will be weaing just a top, to make her look more informal and a bit more scruffy then the police woman. She will be slouched and looking more guilty then smug because she knows that she is in the wrong. She will only grunt and nod though because she doesn't want to tell the police woman that she is responsible for the crime because she doesn't want to get into trouble.
Location and Date
I filmed the preliminary task on the 12th of November, during one of my study periods that Willow and had free too. This meant that I could film for a whole hour if I wanted to, so I had lots of time to get it just right.I used a class room that most looked like it could be an office. This meant that our preliminary task looked a little more realistic to the audience.
