My institution name is 'Rigor Mortis' which means the stiffening of the joints and muscles of a body a few hours after death. I chose this name because I thought that it worked well with my horror opening and that it fit in because my horror opening is to do with death, therefore the institution name has an instant connect with my horror movie.

Idea's For My Openings.

I don't like this idea because it has the black around it and then there is white around the skull because it doesn't look good. I think it makes it look like a three year old has put it together and it doesn't look finished and professional. I also don't like where the Rigor Mortis productions is placed because I wanted it over the whole thing but the black and the white colours didn't show in both places and I didn't want the writing red, therefore I am not going to use it.



I like this idea more because it is simple and wouldn't take up much of my time in the opening. I don't know if I would use the music or if I would use different music. I like this idea more though because it's dark and would set the mood. The font is Lucinda Bright and I like this because it is quite simple as well as being very readable. If I was to use this, I would defiantly make sure that the music faded out at the end so it didn't come to a sudden stop.The font is also similar to the ones they use horror openings that are the beginning to real horror movies. I like the idea of having something simpler and without using the logo, because I think it is easier to make and it still uses my institution and still will have effect on the audience.
