Why women? Too many stereotypical male villains, they are rarely villains, twists the plot more, makes the movie seem darker, more male villains then women, women villains are less likely to look like they are the villain, women make the storyline scarier sometimes, women aren't often evil.

Why men? Gets the interest of women, they're more evil - makes it more believable, women aren't very scary, males make better villains then women.
